The University of ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Foundation has selected Mark Herrmann as recipient of the 2019 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence. Herrmann is dean of UAF's School of Management and a faculty member for more than 25 years. The Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence is the Foundation's most prestigious award.

ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ author Linda Schandelmeier wins national award

ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ author and UAF graduate Linda Schandelmeier has won the 2019 WILLA Literary Award for her book of poems "Coming Out of Nowhere," published in 2018 by the University of ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Press. This nationally recognized award honors the best each year in literature, featuring women's or girls' stories set in the West.

Hite McGee resigns as chief human resources officer

Keli Hite McGee recently announced her resignation from her position as the University of ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Her last day with the university will be October 4th.

Pope to direct HR Operations

Presently, she is the UA Director of Accounting and Human Resources Information Systems. She is widely recognized for her project management skills, and provides training in project management for university employees.
