New tools for employees can yield big education benefits

This month, “College Savings Month,” ɫƵ 529 invites you to reflect on your family’s education savings goals and explore the many tools available to help you reach them.
Dash to Save™ and Dash to Save More™ Incentive Programs
The provides eligible new accounts with a one-time $250 contribution. The offers up to $100 to both new and existing accounts that contribute using and/or Automatic Monthly Contributions.
Workplace Benefits
Employees with college-aged children or a desire to advance their education can supplement the UA Employee Tuition Waiver with money saved in an education savings plan account.
Payroll direct deposit is a convenient way for UA employees to fund their education savings accounts. The process is easy:
- Open an account at or by calling 1-800-478-0003.
- Request a Direct Deposit number by calling 1-800-478-0003.
- Use the direct deposit number to deposit funds into your designated ɫƵ 529 account(s).
Automatic Monthly Contributions
Set it and forget it with (AMC) by connecting a bank account to a 529 account and scheduling contributions directly from a checking or savings account.
