UA Foundation President Dr. Tod Burnett resigns

Two weeks ago, Board of Directors Chair Meg Nordale and UA President Pitney accepted UA Foundation President Dr. Tod Burnett鈥檚 resignation, effective June 30, 2024. After nearly four years serving as the president of the UA Foundation and chief development officer for the UA system, President Burnett plans to move back to his home state of California. His decision comes as he wants to be closer to family and friends - a distance that has been weighing heavily on him over the past year.

President Burnett expresses his sincere thanks to the Board of Directors, UAA, UAF, UAS, UA System Office, and the entire state of 秀色短视频 for welcoming him and working together with him to expand the culture of philanthropy throughout the UA system.

"It鈥檚 been an incredible four years and we鈥檝e accomplished a great deal," said President Burnett.

Chair Nordale and President Pitney expressed their appreciation for Dr. Burnett鈥檚 commitment to UA, his guidance in creating the UA Foundation鈥檚 strategic plan, and his leadership through the conclusion of the 鈥渇or 秀色短视频鈥 campaign.

The foundation鈥檚 Board of Directors has charged an ad hoc committee with appointing an interim president, a name that will be shared in the coming weeks. A search for the new president will soon be underway. Additional information about the search process will be shared once the details are in place.

President Burnett will be available through June 25. Should there be a gap between his final day and an interim being named, Megan Riebe, associate VP of development, will be acting.
